Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Basin Telecom and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer tickets and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on outage reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
