Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Ironwood Glen Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on budget submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
