Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Greenridge Yarrow Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Baltimore area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 414 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on field visits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
