Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Ironwood Vista Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Baltimore, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in account servicing and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vendor spend. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
