Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Fern Arts Center Partners and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 933 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in visitor services and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ticketing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
