Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Northwind Ashton Foods is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
