Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Rivermark Quarry Energy is an energy provider in Atlanta focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
