Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Ironwood Hollow Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Charlotte. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in recycling loads and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
