Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Stonegate Umber Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Raleigh. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loan files and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on account openings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
