Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Foxglove Yarrow Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Boise, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in equipment calibration and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on client sites. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
