Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Summit Forge Freight Group is a Honolulu logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 134 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loads and lanes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
