Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Nova Ashton Civic Services Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for case files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in case files and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
