Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Fern Freight and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
