Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Summit Ridge Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Denver. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in catastrophe response and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
