Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Westbrook Birch Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Detroit. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in field records and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on packing house output. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
