Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Granite Markets and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on store inventory. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
