Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Northwind Wilder Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in production lines and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
