Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Northwind Cobalt Auto Group is a Las Vegas company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in service appointments and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer estimates. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
