Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Meadow Insurance and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
