Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Highbridge Harbor Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Minneapolis with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 121 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in recycling loads and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on landfill records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
