Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Summit Birch Energy Partners supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Charleston, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in service connections and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on usage data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
