Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Nova Ember Staffing Group places workers with employers around Dallas. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on candidate screening. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
