Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Westbrook Meridian Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Des Moines, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Investigate trends in cleaning schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on safety inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
