Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Northwind Orchard Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the San Diego area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
