Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Silverline Harbor Freight Partners is a Pittsburgh logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loads and lanes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on dock schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
