Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Fern Telecom and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service installations. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
