Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bright Rook Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in production lines and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
