Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Haven Construction Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in materials orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on safety records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
