Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Ridge Insurance and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 139 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
