Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Northwind Lantern Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Salt Lake City region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
