Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Stonegate Kestrel Medical designs and makes medical devices in Reno, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 125 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in device records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on complaint handling. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
