Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Oak Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Birmingham, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Investigate trends in field visits and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
