Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Highbridge Glen Banking Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on fraud alerts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
