Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bright Pike Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on premium billing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
