Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Cedar Quarry Environmental Services Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 384 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in fleet maintenance and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
