Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Redstone Amber Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 827 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on warranty claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
