Data Analyst - operations reporting (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Sparrow Transit Planning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on accessibility audits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
