Data Analyst - operations reporting (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Juniper Legal Group provides legal services in Raleigh across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Investigate trends in client files and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
