Data Analyst - operations reporting (Providence, RI)

Foxglove Linden Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in customer tracking and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
