Data Analyst - operations reporting (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Wren Arts Center Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Investigate trends in event logistics and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on volunteer programmes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
