Data Analyst - operations reporting (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Bright Glen Care Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 876 people based in Providence. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in licensing and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
