Data Analyst - operations reporting (Providence, RI)

Northwind Meridian Farms is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in grower contracts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
