Data Analyst - operations reporting (Providence, RI)

Northwind Union Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Providence, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loan files and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account openings. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
