Data Analyst - operations reporting (Portland, OR)

Summit Willow Learning Group is an education provider in Portland serving students and families, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on school calendars.
