Data Analyst - operations reporting (Portland, OR)

Summit Bright Housing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for waiting lists, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 247 people based in Portland. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in waiting lists and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on lease compliance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
