Data Analyst - operations reporting (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Linden Legal Group is a Portland practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 485 people based in Portland. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on trust accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
