Data Analyst - operations reporting (Phoenix, AZ)

Fernwood Wren Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Phoenix region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on hardship programmes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
