Data Analyst - operations reporting (Phoenix, AZ)

Foxglove Quill Hospitality is a hospitality company in Phoenix with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in housekeeping schedules and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on group events. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
