Data Analyst - operations reporting (Phoenix, AZ)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Wren Freight and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
