Data Analyst - operations reporting (Philadelphia, PA)

Nova Granite Housing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for rent assistance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in rent assistance and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on maintenance stores. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
